Screenings
November 2010
The film was screened in Orvieto, Italy at the fifth annual Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma Certificate Program in Global Mental Health. Those in attendance were a wide range of disciplines that work with displaced populations in a variety of settings, including acclaimed Italian documentary filmmaker, Maria Bosio.
The film was additionally screened on November 6th at the Virginia Film Festival.
December 2010
The film was screened in Washington DC at the DC Psychiatric Society meeting attended by a group of local mental health professionals, including current heads of the DC Department of Mental Health.
A screening was held in Boston, MA.
January 2011
A screening was held at Sankofa Cafe in Washington, DC.
February 2011
A festival screening was held in Sanford Florida at the Love Your Shorts Film Festival in Feburary 2011. When: Sunday February 12th at 2:30pm.
March 2011
A screening was held at DCIFF (D.C. Independent Film Festival). Released to Life also won the Grand Jury prize for student film.
January 2012
A screening will be held at GWU for a special award and distribution by SnagFilms.
